- If you don’t see it, we can find it.
- Military discounts also available.
AbilityOne’s mission is to provide employment opportunities for people who are blind or have significant disabilities through the manufacture and delivery of products and services to the federal government.
These authorized AbilityOne distribution sources offer office supplies, such as copy paper, pens, staples, notebooks and folders, as well as office furniture, breakroom supplies and janitorial products to authorized government purchasers and military contractors.
In addition to selling supplies produced by the visually impaired, both the Barksdale and Fort Polk BSC employ visually impaired individuals in their retail operations, allowing them to gain work experience and foster a sense of independence.
By providing direct jobs at the retail stores and indirect jobs through purchasing blind-made products, these centers are doing their part to reduce the 70 percent national unemployment rate for those with visual impairment, all while offering convenience to federal customers. It’s a win for everyone involved.
