Job Title: Customer Care Representative
Department: Corporate
Location: 1826 Claiborne Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71103
Wage Category: Non-Exempt; $18/hour
Reports To: Director, Customer Solutions
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Deal directly with customers either by telephone or face-to-face
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, handle and resolve customer complaints, and follow up on customer interactions
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
- Provide pricing and delivery information
- Set up new customer accounts and keep accounts up to date
- Provide quotes and process orders
- Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated person
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
- Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
- Maintain customer databases
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments

Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or relevant experience
- Thorough knowledge of LAB products, customer base, and procedures a plus
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications
- Ability to type
- Numeric, oral and written language applications
- Preference given to qualified visually impaired individuals
