Job Title:              Customer Care Representative

Wage Category:   Non-Exempt; $18/hour
Reports To:          Director, Customer Solutions


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone or face-to-face
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, handle and resolve customer complaints, and follow up on customer interactions
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • Provide pricing and delivery information
  • Set up new customer accounts and keep accounts up to date
  • Provide quotes and process orders
  • Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated person
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
  • Maintain customer databases
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments

  • Associates Degree or relevant experience
  • Thorough knowledge of LAB products, customer base, and procedures a plus
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Ability to type
  • Numeric, oral and written language applications
  • Preference given to qualified visually impaired individuals
